France 1998

Our first trip to the Interceltique Festival in Lorient, Brittany was in 1988. 1998 was our return trip and what a trip it was! It was the year we became friends of the Lorient Police through a famous gig in the police station. It was the party to beat all parties. We are still friends with Claude , Phillipe, Alain , and many more police men and women in Lorient. The Police Major at the time was Jackie David who is now involved with the Lorient Football Team in the French top league.

  One of our favourite tunes is 'Greenlands' written by the Breton folk musician Dan Ar Braz. On this trip we got to perform the song with Dan Ar Braz to an audience of 10,000. What a night! And what a musician! Our hero!
